That card should work fine for recording TV, but I'd say skip it for playing your Wii. Instead just look at a simple dongle that converts component or composite to VGA. That would solve the lag problem, and if you use component cables, make everything look nicer.

Even though SL sucks bandwith like it's nobody's business, we picked a perfect week for a three hour dance party since ResCom is having issues with recording bandwith usage. It's just not happening, but as people are figuring this out the internet is becoming SLOW.

Also, awesome pictures. I hate taking pictures in SL--it's way too annoying... like everything else about SL....

The writer's strike makes my soul hurt. They should all be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun. But it'll definitely be worth paying a little extra for DVDs just to avoid things like "Who Wants to Marry a Farmer?"

Also, I sent the 1/n sinx = ? one to my father, and he appreciated it.

I seriously don't see how they will be able to continue with these bandwidth restrictions into the future. I mean now it just sucks, but what about 5 years from now? It's likely that the speeds we have will be unacceptable. If it's obtainable, they should be investing in faster connections to the campus because the internet is not going away. Who knows though, maybe as we bicker they're working out a solution.

I have a super duper 6800 back home, take that Garrett. While it clearly sucks when compared to cards like the one you have, it runs all Source games splendidly. What more could anyone need?

I'm very impressed with the work he did for this video, but if you compare the original to the one aired, you can easily pick out the very 'un-apple' things he included.

This was a really enjoyable team homework assignment. But SL makes it complicated for a group of people to build an object at the same time.
