With regard to ease of use, what are some pros & cons of the tool? (Is it a difficult tool to use?)

Flickr is known and celebrated for its easy to use interface. Uploading and sharing photos is an easy task, allowing individuals who are not tech savvy to utilize the tool. Members are able to share their photos with individuals who are not members themselves. It is easy to organize photos as well, using Flickr's tagging and grouping tools. According to USA Today, however, it is not as easy to use as other photo sharing services such as Shutterfly. The difficulty lies in understanding Flickr jargon. Jefferson Graham of USA Today says, "It uses terms such as 'photostreams' to describe personal photo collections, 'interestingness' to describe cool new pictures and 'sets' to describe groups of photos." This does not seem to be an issue for Flickr users. In the first year of Yahoo!'s ownership, the community of members grew from 250,000 to 2 million. Service membership has continued to grow since then.
