This is a picture of Penn State's Philharmonic Orchestra during their spring break tour of Spain. As an orchestra we traveled to several small cities in Spain and gave five concerts that featured Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4. The picture on the right hand side is of me and four of my friends anxiously waiting for our final performance to begin. This trip was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Not only was I able to go to Europe, but I also had the privilege of performing with many amazing musicians, and the most talented and passionate conductor I have ever met. Gerardo Edelstein, recently directed us in the last concert of the semester. We performed Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2, Wagner's Prelude to Act III from "Lohengrin", and Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Von Williams.
