I recently completed my Ph.D. in Political Science at The Pennsylvania State University. Beginning in Fall 2008, I will be an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Davis.
My research interests involve the scientific study of international conflict, specifically war expansion. I investigate conflict processes by developing formal models (e.g., game-theoretic, computational) and then subjecting the implications of these models (i.e., hypotheses) to empirical evaluation using statistical analysis.
