The Photonic and Optoelectronic Devices Group is managed by Prof. Jian Xu of the Engineering Science and Mechanics Deparment at Penn State. Our group is focused on development of novel optoelectronic devices based on nanomaterials and nanofabrication techniques. We combine material synthesis, device fabrication and characterization in order to optimize device performance.
