GUERRINI, Anita.
Thomas Hart and Mary Jones Horning Professor in the Humanities and Professor of History, Oregon State University. She has investigated animals and public anatomy in early modern Europe, especially comparative anatomy, 1650-1850. She is the author of Experimenting with Humans and Animals: From Galen to Animal Rights (2003); Natural History and the New World(1986, 2nd ed. 2002); and “Duverney’s Skeletons,” Isis (Dec 2003).
