Research

My postdoctoral research involves studying how we produce forces during grasping and other finger tasks, and with the arm. In particular, I am interested in how the Central Nervous System coordinates finger forces to perform given tasks, and how these desired forces are planned (for example, by using the Equilibrium point hypothesis).

A collection of my references related to grasping and motor control in general can be viewed. More general articles on arm movement and focussing on Listing's and Donders' law can be found here.
