Welcome to my blog!

This blog is intended primarily as a way for me to make quick-and-dirty reports to CC:DA and other interested parties on developments relating to RDA: Resource Description and Access.

Although I have enabled comments -- and (for the moment) have allowed comments to be posted automatically -- I am not intending to set up another discussion forum.  Feel free to comment on my entries and talk among yourselves, but I don't promise to engage in the discussion.  When I make use of the blog, it will be during periods of intense work on my part.  For example, I will begin by making a few comments on the CC:DA comments on the full draft of RDA and what I have decided to do with them.  I'm going to be too busy writing the ALA response to engage in additional discussion, but I do want to make a record of the decisions I am making.

I also plan to write daily entries in the blog during the JSC meeting in March, so that you can get up-to-date and detailed information from the front lines, so to speak.
