Initial Poem

Objects (computer)

Itís woken up everyday with noises and beeps; it needs time to get situated. Its face looks like whatever I choose. It is a follower; a rodent controls its life.It does whatever I feel: work, play, or just talk.It can remember anything I tell it to because of its photographic memory. At bed time, I tuck it in and it falls asleep as the lights go out.

Food (Broccoli)

I feel like a giant in this field of tiny trees. Its bark is green not brown and it has no roots. In the winter, the leaves stay green and never fall from above. No autumn for this tree. It's good for me in many ways although I choose not to harm it.When forced into violence against the trees I only choose to take its leaves. Never the bark for me.

Rooms (closet)

Tiny for some but spacious for others, very deceiving in size. Many walk in for a closer look but many just stand outside.I choose not to live in their but my clothes call it home.It holds onto things for me and keeps them safe when Iím gone.Sometimes when searched really hard it becomes a lost-and-found.During cleanings it loses friends but gets brand new ones after shopping.
