Jenny,

One game (word puzzle) a day would be a great source of motivation!

- jq

Mouse trap locations Jenny referred to in her last post are as follows:

In 503: 2 under blue lockers
In 502: 1 under printer table behind recycling bin.
In my office: 1 behind my trash can; 1 in bottom, right drawer of my computer desk

If you notice a mouse in any of these traps, please call Bill, The Mouseman, immediately at 280-6291 between 6am-4pm.

And please try to keep food area on top of refrigerator clean!

Thanks!

- Caroline

When patrons ask for assistance with printing PDFs, I always tell them to select "Print as image" under the "Advanced" printing options (or I select it for them and show them where that is) so that the doc. they're printing doesn't print as garbage (and possibly, "hang" the printer, too). I think all of you probably know this---but I thought I'd mention this in case you didn't.

At Pollock, I put little yellow signs on all of the computers to try to prevent these problems. I see ITS (or someone) put one on the printer---but it's usually too late when students see it there. -Caroline

- Caroline

I guess they have the forms down there and fill them out themselves. We don't have to fill anything out, just take the items down.

- Jenny

I like this blog, Jenny! This is really cool! Thanks for the info.

I did know this detail---because we sent hundreds of items to Lending (from Pollock) over the years! We used to complete the forms for the items, though. I guess all of the libraries outside of Pattee and Paterno complete the forms for items they send to Lending???

Anyway, Thanks!

The Special Collections started something like this back around 2005. Worked pretty nice.

- JQ
