Some of us don't really want to post our image online, our reasons vary.  Even my young and lovely students dread having to post their picture. One way that I found to get around this obstacle is Wordle, a website that will create a word cloud of any text. I fed it my resume and produced a banner and number of images for my online portfolio. Instead of looking old school, I think I've managed to create a new school image (let's hope).
