Embedding a PowerPoint using SlideShare
Introduction
This instruction set will walk you through the steps of embedding a PowerPoint presentation using SlideShare. SlideShare is a website that allows you to upload your PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Adobe PDF Portfolios to the site and share them either publicly or privately. Creating an account on this website is free and only takes a few minutes of your time. After completing the steps below, you will be able to view your presentation as a blog entry. Below are the instructions as well as a screen-cast, which is a video that takes you step by step through the process on the screen. Completing this task may take some time because uploading your presentation to SlideShare can sometimes take up to 15 minutes.
The screencast below provides an overview of the steps.
Screencast Tutorial
Note: Accounts on both SlideShare and blogs.psu.edu are required. The PowerPoint presentation must be saved as pdf, ppt, pps, pptx, ppsx, pot, or potx.
After watching the screencast, follow the steps provided in the next section.
