How to Create Smooth and Informative Links

Introduction

Often times it is useful to link outside sources to a blog.  However, a blog would look unattractive and cluttered if an entire URL was posted.  This instruction set will demonstrate how to make links that are smooth and professional.  To complete this task, highlight and copy the desired URL, create a title for the link, and then link the title to the URL using the hyperlink icon.  Before following this instruction set, two main concepts must be understood. The first concept is a URL address, which is the specific address for a website.  The second concept involves highlighting text.  To highlight text, press and hold the left mouse button while dragging the cursor over the desired text.  The overall process of hyperlinking is relatively short and should not take longer than a minute.  This task could be performed on any computer with internet access.
