Creating a Hyperlink: Capturing a Screenshot, Editing and Uploading the Image
Andrew
Wheatley and Claire Yumi Hong
Introduction
In this tutorial, we will teach you how to create a smooth
and informative link to outside content. When you arrive at the link's
location, we will show you how to capture a screenshot, edit the image with
paint and upload the final image to your Penn State Blog. Creating smooth links
will create a more professional look than simply copying the URL and pasting it
to your web page (http ://...). The video below uses an image of Penn
State University Park map as an example, but the same method applies to most
outside sources or images online.
The entire process should not take more than several minutes.Enhancing a
link and editing and uploading a Screen shot should take only a few minutes
depending on how much editing is required.
