History, Mathew my youngest son has cerebral palsy. . As he grew we realized every year became harder to get him up and down the tri-level house we lived in.

He was anxious when he could not follow his brother or one of us easily into the bedrooms or the bathroom. The weather and our health complicated getting him into, around, or out of the house. We moved last year into a ranch with a ramp in the garage. I remember the first day and the expression on his face when he was able to drive into my bedroom.

After settling in and the house market challenges we realized our hope to renovate the bathroom faded away. Mathew had to park his wheelchair outside in the hallway, get undressed, and be carried into a narrow bathroom and set into the tub's bath seat. He hated it and we were getting concerned about his and our safety getting into and out the bathtub.

-----------This Christmas ------------

My two boys dropped off their letters to Santa Clause to help raise money for a charity. A mother, Mrs. Lisa Chinski, saw my special needs son's letter my wife wrote asking for Santa to pray we get an accessable bathroom for him. Mrs. Chinsky called Motsch Plumbing and Luciano Builder's who all wanted to be a part of getting Mathew his life changing Christmas present. Mrs. Chinski said, "No 8 year old child should have to ask for bathroom for Christmas". My wife called me as soon as she got the call, we both broke down at the generosity and magnitude of what this gift means to our family.

Motsch plumbing and Luciano builder's had all the equipment ordered and scheduled a February Christmas Present. They always had a smile and took such care in making sure everything would work for Mathew's needs. Last night my family and I stood at the entrance to the new bathroom in awe and never thought we were so blessed. Mathew is so excited that he can now play in the water when he wants to, and has now been signing to take a shower!

The design and layout is perfect from the easy access from his changing table to the shower, the sink -the first he has ever been able to use at home, the easy access to the toilet and him knowing it is truly for him. Mathew from his bed at night can see through the center of the house if someone comes in or we are getting his meds ready in another room. The layout has also provided a welcome benefit, allowing us to keep an ear on Mathew from other rooms, since he has had complications with swallowing and his epilepsy, hearing his breathing\stirring is a comfort.

Your generosity has changed our daily lives! God bless and thank you.
