Re: Scheduling Date for 10 Cr. Misc. 1 Pg. 4 (HBP), U. S. v. Julian Heicklen

Dear Judge Pitman:

I have received your ORDER of September 22, 2010, setting a court date for October 8, 2010. Apparently my letter of August 27, 2010, addressed to Courtroom Deputy Bruce Hampton was not clear.  I will not appear in court until the requests in that letter are fulfilled.  I am not going to be railroaded into a conviction.

One very dark night on the Pacific Ocean, two ships were headed for a collision.  The following conversation occurred:

Ship 1 to Ship 2: We are headed for a collision.  Change your course.
Ship 2 to Ship 1: We are headed for a collision.  You change your course.
Ship 1 to Ship 2: I am an admiral on a U. S. aircraft carrier.  You change course.
Ship 2 to Ship1: I am a lighthouse.  Your move admiral.

In this trial, you are an admiral.  The U. S. District Court is your aircraft carrier.  I am the lighthouse.  Your move admiral.

I apologize for the lack of clarity in my previous letter.

Sincerely yours,
