Debra Ferguson has multiple sclerosis, keratoconus, asthma, cardiac irregularities, arthritis, hypertension, depression, and chronic pain from spinal fusion. Debra has been prescribed Zoloft, Desyrel, Betaseron, Klonopin, Relafen, Tenomion, Xantac, Nitrostat, Ventolin, Phenergan, Azulfidine, and Marinol, among other dangerous drugs.

In 1989, Debra discarded most of these drugs, when she found that cannabis alleviated the pain, the tightness in her muscles, and did not drug her to the point of being dysfunctional. Her mind cleared, her depression lifted, and her energy level became normal.

Debra entered college after she discarded the prescribed drugs. Her scholastic record has won her recognition. Her record of community service has been recognized by her city.
