Hey readers,
When you think Penn State what comes to mind? For some the first thing that pops into their mind is FOOTBALL. Penn State is known for many things but football is definitely high on the list for its crazy fans and amazing games. I am not much of a football fan but living in Pennsylvania for 8 months has made me appreciate football in both the professional and college level. Late in the fall semester I found the time to watch most of the Penn State football games and it made me wish I was in the stadium yelling with all the other crazy fans. Of course just like any good team the tickets tend to go pretty high but many students use this time of the year to reserve and buy season tickets at one standard price. Since Monday, June 22nd students have gone online to make sure they are apart of the action taking place this upcoming season. The way the athletic office deals with the large amount of request is by setting up dates for each class to have a part of the excitement. The sell started with the seniors on Monday and it continues until the freshmen also have their share. Tickets sell out fast so they recommend for you to have all your information in your hand before signing on to their website. Tomorrow the 24th is when sophomores get to buy starting at 8am and the sell will continue until there are no more tickets left or until 2 o'clock eastern time. The 25th is the last day Penn State sells for current students but this day is reserved exclusively for freshmen. This is all the information I have right now but below I have inserted a link that provides more detailed information about the sell.

I hope to see many of you at the games and ready to show some school spirit. WE ARE PENN STATE!!

Hey readers,
So as I know many of you are very aware of SUMMER is here. I know many people get very excited at the idea of not having any special responsibilities for about 2 months in order to relax and hang out. When people think summer the first thing that comes to mind is beach and the sun but I know there are many different activities that many people enjoy besides the sun. In this blog I wanted to get some feedback from my readers consisting their favorite part of the summer. It can be something as simple as catching up with their reading to camping with friends and family. I know many that just love the fact that they can sleep in without worrying about missing anything too special. I will later add another blog telling you which ones where the most common and why. Please don't be afraid to leave your input and I hope everyone is having a relaxing summer so far.

Hey readers,
It has been one month since we have finished school and began our summer. Even though I have not done much I still can't believe how fast time has passed. My little brother and sisters just finished school yesterday and cannot be more excited to finally begin their summer. For graduating seniors this will probably be the fastest summer in your life because many of you will try to fit in so many activities before leaving to college. For example, I have seen many families that decide to fit in a family vacation to celebrate. Other students also decide to work which makes time pass by faster when you are busy. However, I believe the idea that in a few months your life will change especially if you are moving away makes time fly because you are looking forward to something big. A lot of paperwork has to be done during the summer to ensure your admissions and financial aid is all taken care of to avoid any confusion when it is time to arrive at your dorm. During this waiting period it is very important that you continue to pay attention to your deadlines and mail. I know by this time you are probably very annoyed by all the junk mail you are receiving at home but make sure you are reading it before you throw it away because it may have very important information on it. Now is the time that you must you have all the necessary information to not fall behind on deadlines when it comes to tuition bills or academic requirements. If you have any questions concerning where to find information please feel free to ask me.
