Welcome!

Hello, my name is Jason Sheppard and welcome to my e-portfolio. I'm originally from Derry, Pennsylvania, which is about an hour east of Pittsburgh. As a senior, I'm currently seeking an internship for the spring of 2012 to further my accounting experience.

I started at the branch campus Penn State Altoona where I was actively involved with Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE). I participated in numerous community service activities with SIFE ranging from presenting financial literacy seminars to being a tax preparer in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. During my sophomore year, our SIFE club was named Regional Champions in Philidelphia. As a group, Penn State Altoona SIFE had an unbelieveable experience going to Minniapolis for the National Exposition.

For the last three summers, I was fortunate to get an internship with Adelphoi Village in their accounting department. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I had a lot of fun working with such a great group of people.
