Dissertation title:

Building Scenarios of Adaptive Capacity: Case Studies of Community Water Systems in Central Pennsylvania
Why am I studying drinking water systems and their capacities to adapt to climate change? Because I became a geographer to develop solutions to climate change-related problems that are accessible to non-academics, I prefer to explain it without jargon. Water systems address a lot of issues, and they have little time to think about how these concerns might change in the future. I am working with water system managers to develop a process that will make it easier for them to explore how they think the area might change, how well their systems might be able respond, and how climate change might affect their plans.

For those who prefer the extended, slightly more jargon-y version of my dissertation research description, you can find it here.
