Meanwhile, here's a teaser pic from May 24, 2005. I call it "The Storm that Almost Ate Sheridan Lake, CO." Fortunately for the town, the storm didn't produce a tornado. In terms of our chase, it was the most impressive thing we saw all week.
We were just south of the town on Rt. 385, looking north (my banner is based on a shot from the same spot, looking east, about 10 minutes before the photo to the right). It was my second day photographing storms with a digital camera, so please be kind to a novice!
