Ruminations

The Dead Economists Society continues to reach around the globe. This essay was submitted by Alan Webb, currently residing on the western side of the Pacific Rim--that is, in the Far East. With keen insight and in the context of the 1998 Asian Economic Crisis, he synthesizes the best of the West (Adam Smith et al) with the best of the East (Ghandi, Lao Tsu, et al).
