About Me

I am a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors and I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Pennsylvania.

I live in Hollidaysburg, PA with my husband, Steve, and my son, Brad.  Steve is an avid fly fisherman and Brad plays the trumpet in the high school band.  I enjoy cooking and baking goodies, swimming, traveling to the beach in Sandbridge, Virginia Beach, and trying my luck in Las Vegas.

My Job Responsibilities

I am a Program Specialist in the Division of Undergraduate Studies.  My primary goal is to assist exploratory students with their selection of courses, as well as to aid students in defining and developing their educational and career goals.

I also am an academic counselor in the First-Year Transition Program.  In addition, I teach one of the PSU Freshmen Seminar courses during the fall semester.  I assist in coordinating the Major Event of the Year that occurs during the fall semester and process re-enrollment forms for all students requesting re-enrollment into DUS.
