We are...Penn State!

I can't believe it is August already!  My summer has flown by, but that means it is now time to welcome both returning and incoming students.  I hope you have found your summer to be a well-deserved and great break.

If you are an incoming student, hopefully you have received your information about the Orientation activities starting August 16.

Monday, August 16 will be the Orientation for International students only from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday, August 17 will be optional Information sessions for any incoming student.  We will offer two different time slots both covering the same topics for your convenience. If students wish to participate, only one session needs to be selected from from the following:  Schedule A from 9:30 a.m. to noon or Schedule B from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The next two events are mandatory for all new students.

Thursday, August 19 will be your official welcome into our Penn State community and family during Convocation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Your family and friends are encouraged to attend at the Community Center.

Friday, August 20 will be the Student Life Orientation from 12:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Community Center.  This day is full of fun and informative activities that will get you ready and excited for the new school year to begin!

Be sure to check out your Orientation 2010 newsletter for more information!

If you have any questions or if you have not received any information in the mail, be sure to call Chad A. Long at 724-430-4248.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone back on campus!

Until next time,

Nittany
