Now for a little about myself....
The world is a fluffy ball of yarn, and I'm a cat, eternally playful. Occasionally, however, I'll swallow some and need surgical intervention.
I really do feel like I enjoy the important things in life.
I'm a sucker for good food, a nice glass of wine, and friendly company. I like being outside a lot too. Walking places and a sense of "urban-ness" are very dear to my heart. I have a real desire to live around other people, to watch and to learn. I appreciate art and music too, not just whatever is considered 'good', but really anything that makes me change my perspective. As for some examples I really enjoyed Tarkovsky's Stalker, Solaris, and Andrei Rublev. He and Satoshi Kon are probably my two favorite directors. My favorites from Kon are Paprika and Perfect Blue. Despite being in completely different genres, countries, and time periods, Kon and Tarkovsky share the same talent to challenge us to rethink our assumptions on life and how things work.
