A favor to ask...

So, yes I have a lot of thoughts about having a daughter, but that's not what I'm going to write about right now...

For right now I want to ask that everyone say a prayer for Maddison's 5-month-old cousin, Avery. He is currently in the hospital receiving fluids because he can't keep much down right now. I can't imagine what his parents, Shaun and Robyn are feeling right now, but it must be a whole host of things. Please keep little Avery in your prayers as well as his parents and brother, Evan.

Shaun, Robyn, Evan and Avery, we love you all and are praying for a quick recovery!

our little....GIRL!  Maddison Marie Hill!!!  Yep, we're having a little girl.  We're so excited now to be able to plan for it!  This will surely make my family extremely happy (we've had a rash of boys lately, so they were hoping for a girl).  I've put a few pics from the ultrasound today.  We did a full anatomy check and everything looks perfect!  I've labeled as much as possible in the pics below, we got some really good ones this time!  Guess we can start loading up on the pink!  :-D  Better pictures at http://www.personal.psu.edu/iyh3/baby/

We love this pic (above)....she's looking right at you.  It's kind of spooky because you can see the eye sockets and the nose and stuff, but it's cool.  Her knee is right up next to her cheek in the pic...

She was really scrunched up at the beginning of the ultrasound.  Here, her knee is all the way up at her eye....

A little delay...

Well, we were supposed to be able to have a huge announcement right about now, but we've had to delay it a little.  The ultrasound tech that was supposed to do our "big" ultrasound this morning had to cancel due to a family emergency.  Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  So, we will be going tomorrow for the ultrasound.

However, we did have an appointment today, and everything looks good.  Strong heartbeat, easily detectable and all is well.  I should be posting tomorrow with the ultrasound news!
