Halloween

It reminds me of the Halloween last year; it was interesting that unidentified objects would ask each other “What are you?” instead of “Who are you?” These pictures were taken last year in downtown State College. I thought that “Free Hugs” is a good idea!

Let’s plan a happy Halloween!

I remember it was around this time last year (2008) when I was traveling in Pittsburgh, which is quite a vivid city to me, a person living in a very calm college town. Pittsburgh actually shares many things in common with Seoul, the capital city of South Korea where I was born and raised in. First of all, there is a river going all the way across the city just like Han River in Seoul. Second, there are two thoroughfares along the river, which are like Gangbyeon Expwy and Olympic Expwy in Seoul. Also, drivers face a tunnel right after crossing the main bridge in both cities.

Pittsburgh

 

I thought that Pittsburgh is a pretty good city to live in, but a recent survey says that is one of the most polluted cities in the U.S. Is it also a common thing between two cities??
