I wasn't allowed to make my own cake, but I did manage to do a little baking. I made lemon-vanilla cupcakes with lavender buttercream. I tried my hand at fondant for the first time, I created little fondant flowers for the top,...I brushed them with pearl dust as well. I think they looked pretty, even though I didn't eat any of them.
