The petit four attempt and upcoming projects

Ok, so...I attempted petit fours, and failed MISERABLY. I'm serious, I am not even taking a picture of these because they were soooo bad. The cake was good, and the filling was fine, but finding the right consistancy for the poured fondant was a disaster. The recipe I followed seemed to make the fondant too thick, and it just sat on top of the cake instead of covering it. It was horribly messy and the bottom of the cakes were as bare as could be. I have no idea what I did wrong, but in any case, I will revisit them when I get my confidence back.
In the meantime, I have a few recipes that I want to try but I need some help deciding which one to do first.
Here are the options:

Chocolate Chili (inspired from Dave's last comment)
"Chocolate cupcake with a hint of Ancho Chili topped with a chocolate/chili
buttercream and dark chocolate sprinkles"

Chocolate covered strawberry
"Fresh Strawberry cupcake dipped in chocolate ganache topped with
strawberry chocolate curls"

Fluffrnutter
"Peanut butter cupcake topped with marshmallow buttercream swirled with a
ribbon of pure peanut butter and a dollop of marshmallow fluff"

Pink Lemonade
"Pink lemonade cupcake topped with pink lemonade buttercream and pink
and yellow sprinkles"

Please vote on what you want to see! I will have them ready when I get back from my honeymoon

Sweet AND Salty

This was an interesting idea...a sweet and salty honey and salted peanut cupcake. I had some serious issues with the recipe that was posted though. The recipe called for the cupcakes to be in the oven for 22 minutes, but after only 10, they totally needed to come out, and when tested the toothpick was completely dry. I even got complaints that they tasted a little dry. So, I am not sure if my oven is WAY off or if the recipe is, I guess I will have to invest in an oven thermometer. Also...the frosting recipe, while delicious, only made enough to barely cover half of the cupcakes, and I followed directions precisely. I have no idea what that is all about.
I'll have to wait and here feedback from the people about whether this is one recipe to keep, or if I should just toss it.
If you ate one....let me know.
