I made these very sweet, very chocolatey cupcakes for my friends at work. The cupcakes were chocolate almond, and the frosting was a vanilla buttercream.
I used my favorite chocolate cake recipe from other posts, and added some almond flour and almond extract. YUM!
I have tried this recipe several times, and had never gotten it quite right. The cookies would either be too big, or uneven or whatever.
I think I got it right this time.

Here is the recipe straight, but you know I never keep anything straight from the source. I added a little almond extract and increased my dry ingredients until the dough was more workable.
Next time I am going to roll them around a dowel or something, to make cookie cigarettes. That was a suggestion from Dave. Thanks Dave!
