Green Tea Cupcake with Honey Frosting

PICT0084.JPG

The long awaited green tea cupcake with sticky honey frosting. There was no way to escape this bit of cake without an incredibly messy face. But oh was it worth it. I really enjoyed this cupcake, I actually ate two of them. Yes! Me!
I would have tolerated a little more intensity in terms of green tea flavor, maybe next time I will double the amount in the recipe. Any other comments on how to make this concoction better are more than welcome.
Off to Florida now, in search of a tropical inspiration. See ya next week!

that boy is sloppy...those cupcakes were deliciously pleasant, Hannah...thanx for hooking me up with two! seriously, the best I've had this year....although I am remembering that dynamic chocolate espresso dream that i had a few months ago...for sure both the dream and this long awaited green tea splendor parallel each other...ALL I AM TRYING TO SAY IS...THANK YOU FOR THE CUPCAKES!!!! THEY ARE ALL SOO SOOO SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!!!!! :)

Honey flavor is very nice. I agree that the green tea was subtle, but definitely noticeable. Cake was tasty, almost had a biscuit consistency (I love biscuits, so hooray).
