I am a graduate student in the Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at the Pennsylvania State University. I am currently working on my dissertation in Spanish Linguistics and hope to finish in Spring 2009.

I did my undergraduate work in Spanish at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, not too far from State College. I've also spent some time in Mexico, the first time was for 10 weeks at the Instituto de Estudios Avanzados in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. While I was in Orizaba I had an internship at the Cervecería Cuauhtémoc-Moctezuma where I worked in the promotions office and gave tours. I then spent my junior year at the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico. My current research has allowed me to go back to the Puebla area several more times.
