Göktuǧ Morçöl is
Professor of Public Policy and Administration in the School of Public Affairs at Penn State
Harrisburg.
He teaches in the Master of Public Administration
and PhD in Public Administration programs.
He teaches courses in
research methods, program
evaluation, and policy analysis.
He also serves as the coordinator of the PhD Program in Public Administration and
the Certificate Program in Policy Analysis and Evaluation.
His research areas are complexity
theory, metropolitan governance, business improvement districts, and policy
analysis and evaluation methodology.
He authored, edited, and
co-edited the following books: Challenges
to Democratic Governance in Developing Countries (Springer,
2014), A Complexity Theory for Public Policy (Routledge,
2012), Complexity and Policy Analysis (ISCE Publishing,
2008), Business Improvement Districts (CRC Press, 2008), Handbook
of Decision Making (CRC Press, 2007), A New
Mind for Policy Analysis (Praeger,
2002), and New Sciences for Public Administration and Policy (Chatelaine
Press, 2000). His articles have appeared in Public Administration Review,
Administration & Society, Administrative Theory & Praxis,
Policy Sciences, Public Administration Quarterly, Politics
and Policy, International Journal of Public Administration, Emergence,
and other journals.
