I am an Associate Professor in the Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State University. I am also an Associate Professor in Mathematics by courtesy at Penn State.

I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research at Columbia University in 2010. My advisor was Professor Ward Whitt. I have had a broad education background in mathematics, economics, business management, industrial engineering and operations research.

My research interests are in applied probability, stochastic control, stochastic networks and queueing systems. I work with applications in service systems (customer contact centers, healthcare), energy systems, and telecommunications. I also have broad interests in financial engineering (econometrics), simulation and numerical methods.
