Primary research areas include computer-mediated communication, computer networking and telecommunications, human information technologies, artificial intelligence, group and interpersonal communications, distance education, educational applications of information technology. Thesis titled "Teaching Group Problem- Solving via Computer-Mediated Communication".
Primary research and study included artificial intelligence, software engineering and design, computer architecture and operating systems, computer graphics and visualization. Masters thesis focused on development of expert system for heuristic design of very large program overlay structures.
