OSAL – Iowa State Safety Director giving us a p.p.  Motorcycle awareness foundation – received info. on their successes.  Myrtle Beach protest on 2/28 (no helmets).  Judge will then rule.  Radar sent letters to John Peterson, but hasn’t heard anything. 

2.

District Rep. – Horse manure (see if there’s support before proceeding.  COP  change for District LC: Never have had a District LC for past 30 years.  If we can explain why and get support, John will back it up.  Otherwise, it will not fly without their support (presidents and LC’S).

Myrtle Beach Bike Week – City does not want bike week.  The city is a small portion of the rally.  Be careful when going through.  No straight pipes.  No excessive noise.  Helmet.  Eye protection.  2 per parking stall.  Not allowed to sit out in street and drink.  No trailer parking on the street.  No loitering.  Possible jail time or confiscation of bike for disobeying.

Products – Current inventory still on sale.  December sales $112.

 

Old Business

 

1.

Chapter Pool Shoot – Slider, Daygo, Mike Roan, Mule, Earl Cain (Hal – runner up) Brian cannot go to District.

2.

District Pool Shoot – Postponed till 1/31 @ 1pm @ Milesburg Legion.  Kitchen not open.

3.

State Pool Tournament – 2/21 @ Milesburg Legion @ 12:30.  Kitchen open.

4.

We picked up and paid for raffle bike.  PAMP donated 3,000 tickets.  Also donated 6 hoodies.  Member who sells most tickets each month from February – July will win hoodie.

3.  Issue:                      Donate $100 to MRF for chapter to become a sustaining member.  MRF is a federal voice for us.  This will show our support.  Suggestion made to make a copy of the newsletter available for chapter members to read.

Food Bank - $54 (Linda received thank you card from Helen V. from Snow Shoe Food Bank.  Monies helped 70 families.)

50/50 – Gary Horner won $51 (donated to band)/ Chapter $52

Sign out raffle tickets from Don.

Audit was completed and is good – Thanks to 2008 officers!  Good luck to 2009 officers.
