OSAL – Hal presented to S.C. on 3/30 and with the Highlanders @ Huntingdon on 4/16.  Contacted WPSU to do Inside Out show and WPSU FM for another show.  Other reports; Green County – 2, Somerset – 3, and Keystone – 1.  Mayor Bill Welch presentation with Hal on 5/4.  Chapter watched group ride video.

Speed announced that NJ would be putting stickers on bikes of

those with learner permits, under 17 etc -- where any restrictions would apply as to their being allowed to ride with passenger, ride after certain times, etc.

This is to let police easily know if anyone is riding under a restriction.

 

Old Business

 

1.

State Pool Shoot – chapter voted for double elimination.

2.

Bill Jackson sold 103 tickets – Winner of hoodie from March sales.  Sell, sell, sell!!!

3.

Road Captains Mtg. – present:  Slider, Kenny, Scott, Greg, Curt, Pazul, Mike.  Decision made to have a road captain lead a ride after each chapter meeting, and try to support Gold Card members.  Mike Roan – April mtg.  Scott – May mtg.  Pazul – June mtg.  Scott will be leading an Amish ride 7/25.  It would be nice to ride with the chapter and support Gold Card members!

May ride – RC Scott Hartsock – Leave mtg., ride to Burnham, across the Juniata in Lewistown, along the river, cross @ McVeytown, stop in Huntingdon, and back to State College (route to S.C. tbd).  Stops:  Seasons, Hammermill, Waterfront, Memories in Huntingdon, + 2 more optional.

Joel – When did Centre Line Riders become a chapter?  Celebrate that day.

Radar invited everybody to District 6 Keystone Chapter combined meeting.

Myrtle Beach still going on (in another city).

Slider will be sending all other chapters (4) in District 2 free tickets each (8 total) to attend our events such as Bike Show and Octoberfest.  

From Peggy Snyder – If you need refunded, Don cannot do it anymore (IRS reasons for non-profit organizations), state had to issue a refund.  Don will deposit to state office, and state office will issue the refund.
