OSAL-Hal presented at PV High School on Nov 17; Upcoming presentations: State College HS Dec 15, Bellefonte HS Dec 19 & 20, Rachael Focht and Bill Allison are possible helpers; Mule-what do you need to do in order to help present OSAL, Hal-help with the showing of a training video

Old Business

 

1.

Food Bank-Mule-$778 worth of food and supplies were delivered by a group of CLRs on Oct 30, Showshoe food bank serves 72 families

2.

State Flag-Hal-new cost for one-sided flag is $55.50, double that for two-sided, previous cost for two-sided was $47.50; Hal sent info to Terry and BJ; John H-flag should be double-sided

3.

Christmas Party-Steve-party will be Jan 21 following mtg which will begin at 4:00; meal will be served at 6:30; Legion charging $780 for room, decorations, meal, beer & bar tender; tickets will be $15 per person if paid by Jan 7, $20 thereafter or at the door; DJ will provide music; Dist Reps and Chapter Presidents will be invited; Steve will call Dawn the week prior with a head count; John H-Grand Board mtg is held the same day at the Legion but the party will still go as planned

Pool Tourney-John H-it’s Jefferson County’s turn to host the state tourney; local tourney will be after Dec mtg, Mike R will pay for the table fees as a donation; Hal has ordered the trophy; Dave Evans wants to be in the rotation for hosting the tourney; Daygo is now a member of the Clearfield Chapter

New Business ideas

 

1.

Bike Raffle-Williamsport and #1 Cycle Center were contacted about working with us for our raffle bike, neither were interested; we will work with DuBois HD again this year, can get a Super Low Iron 883 in red or blue for $8000 with a buy-back of $6500 so we can offer the $5000 cash prize again; Mike R-encouraged members to help with the sale of tickets; goal is to sell 3000 tickets; raffle committee formed: Brian Focht (chairman), Mike Roan, Jody Yearick

MOM-Congratulations Christy Muhlbauer!!  Thank you for all of your effort to organize the food bank donation throughout the year!  We appreciate you!
