chapters, learned about her position; Bill A- was a well-run program, learned
a lot, food was great; Curt- attended workshops on Facebook, OSAL (Hal’s last
official L&L presentation), MRF and public relations, it’s worth going,
chili cook-off was a success; Steen- attended LC class which promoted
increased connection with local legislators, suggested inviting them to
meetings and having appreciation events; Steve- went to the How to Put On a
Successful Event class by Chinklacamoose, was better than last year; Radar-
re: Facebook, for a chapter page, keep info relevant, it’s not a place for
personal soap boxes; MoonDog- manage what you put on your personal page, it’s
a public domain, willing to set up a chapter page; Speed- Worm (who was in
attendance at this mtg) received the Golden Quill Award for his newsletter
contributions, Worm- thanked Emma for being his proof-reader |

Bike
Raffle- Jody- working with Dubois HD, they still have the Iron they purchased
back from us last year, so if we get the yellow Iron this year, we will not
have the buy-back option, which means we can’t offer the $5000 cash option
prize on the ticket; here are our bike raffle options for this year: buy last
year’s Iron for $7000 with no buy-back, buy the yellow Iron for $7500 with no
buy-back option, buy the 883 Super Low in Cool Blue for $8000 with a buy-back
of $6500; Christy- we’ve already voted to not do the second prize of $500 and
third prize of $250, saving us that money |
|
|
4. |
CPR-
Bill A- certification cancelled for this month because a new procedure is out
