I don't know what Albert was talking about! Maybe he was there early, but the PARTY was a PARTAAAYY! hahaha, IT WAS! There was a lot of people there, and even some people I didn't know. Maybe he was there early like 5pm early, but it was fun pressing F(9-12) keys for the first half-hour before finding out the dance moves were provided at the door.

I also share your sorrow. This was my favorite class out of my whole schedule. Mrs. Doctor Andrea Mrs. Tapia (that long name is just for martha) is also my most favorite teacher out of all my teacher, and was also a really chill teacher. I hope I get to see IST H students in the future and good luck to everyone!

I was really interested to what you had to talk about in this entry. These were the same two companies I used to write about for my assignment. And after remembering what I wrote about in my blog, I found our views on both these islands to be similar. Except it sort of sounded like you like IBM's Second Life space. It was a bit cool, but yo, I spent a whole lot of time flying around and lost all interest in this space that I ended up just walking from place to place rather than fly, I kept getting lost when I flew. Man how I hated how I lost 3 hours of my life on those islands.

This is great! I tried printing my schedule straight from the elions page, and I got it printed landscape with two papers, AND MY SETTING WAS NOT ON LANDSCAPE! I must have printed it like 10 times before I gave up and thought my firefox was messed up. But with this site, my schedule was printed PERFECT and colorful as well. Thanks for this sweet info Garrett.

No disrespect to my fellow group members or the rest of the IST H students who worked just as hard on their project, but I really thought that this was the best video imaging project in the class. It is true, humor is the best medicine, and this surely gave me a high dose of laughter (Corny? yes I know, it went with my medicine adage)

I did Ebaum's world for my assignment as well, and I was completely stunned that Ebaum's World's creators did not care about copyrighted material. Though I love the site, it gives me the chills to think that one day, Ebaum's World will cease to exist because of stupid and serious stuff like this.

Well I don't know about you, but I think that Flickr is and has gotten pretty big. I hear Flickr's name among many places including and not limited to Cameras (a camera from NIKON makes direct uploads to FLICKR), Phones, PDA's, etc. But to tell you the truth, I never thought of it as a social networking site. Always considered it a photo uploading site like putfile, but I guess not.

Ahhh, I remember this interesting speech. I don't mean to disrespect, BUT for some of the questions, I remember Mr. Manohar Bhattarai evading and answering the questions with a point he, I'm guessing, wanted to stick in our heads, and it worked. He got the point that third world countries are trying their best to bring technology about to get a better means of an education. It'll be incredible because who knows what will emerge from this! Would it actually change the third world country to a rapid developing country?

That blog entry was truly hilarious. I'll admit, I started questioning whether I should read the entry once I saw the scroll bar look rather small, but once I started, I couldn't stop reading and laughing. This was a lot better help than that seminar class (shh don't tell anyone!), though I knew how to write a resume, there were a whole bunch of confused people. This entry should replace the whole "resume lecture" for the PSU freshman seminar!

I agree with you, google earth is a really easy to use location finder. I use it all the time. Before google earth, I was using yahoo maps, and it was alright, but it is nowhere near the level of awesomeness of google earth!

I didn't mind them being sold online because since I have experience with hot items selling out very fast online, I made sure to be there at the start to get tickets. I can see other's frustration though. A proper way to sell tickets would be nice, too, seeing as eBay doesn't have their PA law right on their website, and you have to lie about the ticket price to get it listed.

Yeah, honors classes are definitely worth it. You don't have to be a Schreyer to get them, but that whole early registration thing is awesome (unless they cancel the section you're in... *shakes fist*). The thesis even seems less intimidating after this year since IST students can do it on cool stuff XD.

You're not kidding about it being emphasized. They're a requirement for a lot of classes apparently. I know I had to do one for English 030.
