My Online Portfolio - It's About Time.
Ever since my arrival here at Penn State, I've been told the merits of an online portfolio more times than I can recall. Not only a place to let a potential employer know more about yourself, one can also use it to break the mold of the one-page resume. Penn State has actually had an online portfolio promotional campaign going for some time now, and is the first search result on Google for "e-portfolio". After thinking about it for quite some time, I finally took the initiative to make one. It's hosted on my Penn State PASS webspace, viewable here.
It's still under construction, I'm going to be fleshing out a few of the sections, as well as probably adding a few more.
Nevertheless, I think it's a good start for a place to refer a potential employer to learn a bit more about me. Feel free to check it out.

Your ePortfolio looks really good Garret. Hah, I learned a lot more about you from reading throughtout the Home and About Me sections.
I have also heard a lot about these "e=prtfoilios" I really want one but I am just so swamped with everything that I never made it. I wish we had to make one as a homework assignment.

I'm going to wait until I have something on my resume other than "Graduate High School" before I make one. And when I say "I make one" I mean "I have Josh make one"
You're not kidding about it being emphasized. They're a requirement for a lot of classes apparently. I know I had to do one for English 030.
I don't know how everyone has heard of one, but I have never heard about this! Maybe I did, and like my mom says, "In one ear, out the other"! Anyways, I am most definitely adding this to MY TO DO list that I have to do!
