Shock: Inside The Death Care Masquerading As A Health Care Bill For The USSA Under Comrade Obama Which Has The Insane Peter Singer's Footprints All Over It

I strongly suggest that all of you take a really careful look at just what's contained in Comrade Obama's so-called 'health-care' bill for the USSA under his dictatorship!  Is this what you want for you, your children, your grandchildren, and future generations of Americans not yet born if they will be fortunate to survive Obama's abortuaries?  Is this what you call a country fit to live in where the government goes out of its way to make you miserable from the cradle to a grave that can't come early enough for seniors who must undergo 'end-of-life counseling' every five years

Following the mad recommendations of Peter Singer made in NYT's Sunday magazine, it pays to take a look at what is actually in the healthcare bill.

Obamacare: You Will Lose Your Current Insurance. Period. End of Story

Obamacare: You Will Lose Your Current Insurance. Period. End of Story.   [Nina Owcharenko]

This weekend President Obama dedicated his weekly address to defending Congress’s plans for an overhaul of the nation’s health-care system.

He argued, “Once you’ve seen enough ads and heard enough people yelling on TV you might begin to wonder whether there’s a grain of truth to what they are saying.”

Here’s the truth, brand-new analysis (pdf) from The Heritage Foundation — conducted by The Lewin Group — shows that the public-plan component within the House Democrats’ health reform bill is in conflict with how the Congress and the President are selling their reform plan.

“If you like your health plan, you can keep it, the only thing that will change is that you’ll pay less.” Remember that? Well, according to the new Lewin study:

* Approximately 103 million people would be covered under the new public plan and as a consequence about 83.4 million people would lose their private insurance. This would represent a 48.4 percent reduction in the number of people with private coverage.

* About 88.1 million workers would see their current private, employer-sponsored health plan go away and would be shifted to the public plan.

* Yearly premiums for the typical American with private coverage could go up by as much as $460 per privately insured person, as a result of increased cost-shifting stemming from a public plan modeled on Medicare.

So, is there truth in the way the President and Congress are advertising their plans?

In his address President Obama asserted that, “If you like your current insurance, you keep that insurance. Period. End of Story.” But what the president forgot to tell you is that his assertion is only true if the story were fiction.

President Obama has stated that any plan he’d sign must include a health insurance exchange with a public “option.” So, if you like your current insurance you may, in fact, lose it. Period. End of story.

Health Alert: The 2% Solution

What exactly is health reform all about? Readers will be forgiven if they can't come up with a quick answer to that question. No one else can either. But during the Presidential election campaign, Barack Obama mentioned universal coverage a lot. With that in mind, consider that:

·                  Uninsurance is a lot like unemployment; it happens to many people for short periods of time, but it afflicts very few people for long periods of time.

·                  In fact, of all the people who are uninsured today, less than half will be uninsured a year from now.

·                  Less than one in ten will be uninsured two years from now — an amount equal to less than 2% of the nonelderly population.

Let's concede for the sake of argument that these chronically uninsured people have a problem that warrants federal attention. If Congress doesn't keep its eye on the ball (and it is inconceivable that it will keep its eye on the ball) we can end up spending $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years and — at the end of the day — have no assurance that the 2% will actually have been helped!

That works out to about $325,000 for each person who may not be helped!

Subject: [LES FEMMES - THE TRUTH] Separate the Facts from the Myths and Lies on Obama ...

Investor's Business Daily has a great series of articles on Obama's health care fiasco filled with eye-opening facts that may send you into cardiac arrest. (Have your attack quick before rationing kicks in!) I'll post a few quotes to give you a small taste of what's there. Pass the information on to those who have swallowed Obama's rotten fish whole.

We have a health care crisis.

"No, we don't....85% of the population, or 258 million people, polls show high satisfaction with the current coverage. Indeed, a 2006 poll by ABC News, the Kaiser Family Foundation and USA Today found 89% of Americans were happy with their own health care.As for the estimated 47 million not covered by health insurance, 20 million can afford to buy it, according to a study by former CBO Director June O'Neill. Most of the other 27 million are single and under 35, with as many as a third illegal aliens. When it's all whittled down, as few as 12 million are unable to buy insurance — less than 4% of a population of 305 million. For this we need to nationalize 17% of our nation's $14 trillion economy and change the current care that 89% like?"

It's been tried and it doesn't work!

"Three years ago, Massachusetts enacted a law that required every resident to have medical insurance. Commonwealth Care was created to subsidize those who couldn't afford to buy their own. It didn't take long for the program, which never achieved coverage for everyone, to run into trouble.

"Costs soared from $158 million in the first year to $630 million in 2007, then doubled in 2009 to $1.3 billion. Enrollment in the program has also surged. It stands at roughly 181,000, up from 165,000 in the early spring, and is projected to reach 212,000 next year."

Not enough incubators or beds under Canada's socialized program.

"In 2007, a Canadian woman gave birth to extremely rare identical quadruplets — Autumn, Brooke, Calissa and Dahlia Jepps. They were born in the United States to Canadian parents because there was again no space available at any Canadian neonatal care unit....In 2007, there were at least 40 mothers and their babies who were airlifted from British Columbia alone to the U.S. because Canadian hospitals didn't have room. It's worth noting that since 2000, 42 of the world's 52 surviving babies weighing less than 400g (0.9 pounds) were born in the Canada roughly 900,000 patients of all ages are waiting for beds, according to the Fraser Institute."

If you needed the best health care in the world, where would you go to get it? The facts say:

• "Survival rates in the U.S. for common cancers are higher, and in some cases much higher, than in Europe and Canada.

• "Americans have better access to treatment for chronic diseases than patients in other developed nations and spend less time waiting for care than Canadians and Britons.

• "Americans have more access to new medical technologies than Canadians and United Kingdom residents, and are responsible for most health care innovations.

• "Americans are more satisfied with their care than their counterparts in nations with socialized medicine."

Get Ready for a Middle Class Tax Hike!

"Read the bill's fine print. Those earning less than $250,000 will be hit with new taxes, too. Those who don't sign up for health care, for instance, will be taxed up to 2.5% of their income. Small businesses that don't have health plans will have to pay up to 8% of their payroll as a 'fee.' These new taxes will have a devastating effect on the economy. According to the National Tax Foundation, the top total tax rate on Americans — that is, state, local and federal taxes — will top 50% in 39 states.

"Will entrepreneurs and small businesses expand and create new jobs if they know more than half what they earn will be taken by government? Not likely.

"Two million jobs have been lost this year. If you think that, and 9.5% unemployment, is bad, wait till health reform passes."

And finally -- Why the Rush?

"A pattern is emerging for this new presidency. The more radical and far-reaching the plan, the less time the public gets to debate it. Is this due to ambition or fear of push-back?...Where is Ross Perot when we need him? The eccentric Texan got a few things wrong in his political career, but he got at least one thing right with one of his favorite sayings: Measure twice, cut once. This is wisdom that the Obama administration and the Democratic leadership in Congress seem totally to have forgotten."

Take a look at this great series of articles. When you finish, you'll have the facts at your fingertips to refute the myths and outright lies coming out of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid spin machine.

Obamacare: Code Blue

We need a Do Not Resuscitate order for the flailing Democrats’ health care takeover plan.
It’s Code Blue and Team Obama is in panic mode.

Certain sign of desperation: Summoning the nutroots to help.

And another from Mark Knoller, who reports that the White House has moved up Obama’s health care statement today to 12:15pm in the Rose Garden.

And now this from Reuters:

The House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee has canceled its Tuesday debate and vote on healthcare legislation but has kept a Wednesday meeting on its schedule.

Good. This will give Obama time to study the plan he supports — a plan that he admitted he’s not familiar with when asked about the provision that would effectively kill off the individual insurance market.

Philip Klein tosses the politics card back at the White House:

Obama’s health care push is hitting a rough patch because moderates in his own party are skittish about the price tag and tax increases. The Congressional Budget Office determined that none of the Democratic bills do anything to rein in costs — the primary rationale for his health care drive. And the Mayo Clinic, which Obama has routinely praised as a model for the health care system, has blasted the House legislation. Yet Obama wants to rush legislation through so he has a victory going into an election year.

In fact, as CNN reported, “The Senate Democratic leadership and the White House are putting heavy pressure on the Finance Committee to adopt its health care plan before the president speaks to the nation (on Wednesday).” So in other words, Obama is trying to pressure the Finance Committee not to write the best legislation its members can, not to reach a bipartisan compromise, but to pass whatever bill they can before he goes in front of the television cameras to give a prime-time news conference.

Yes, it is about him.

Best video of the day: Rep. Russ Carnahan meets the government health care takeover resistance.

My favorite parts? Well, all of it. But especially when Carnahan tries to tell the audience that Obamacare will create “efficiencies” and a “surplus” and when constituent Kevin Jackson asks:

The science czar stonewalls

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 21, 2009 01:54 PM

Can a population control freak holding the prestigious title of “Science Czar” get away with published musings on forced abortion, mass sterilization programs, and a “planetary regime” to re-engineer society by simply stonewalling?

He’s trying his best.

Last week, I called the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy to press Science Czar John Holdren on his views; his purported disavowal of Ecoscience, the book he co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich; and his continued embrace of forced-abortion advocate and eugenics guru Harrison Brown, whom he credits with inspiring him to become a scientist.

I got an earful from OSTP flack Rick Weiss, who lectured me about journalism. He let me know that he was a reporter for 15 years (at the Washington Post) and put me on notice against writing a “smear job.” He had snippy words for blogs covering the Holdren story and warned against making unfair associations between what Holdren believes and what other population control promoters believe.

But when I pressed him specifically about Holdren’s relationship with Harrison Brown, he:
1) said he didn’t know who he was;

2) balked at drawing any conclusions about Holdren’s views based on his homages to Brown (even though Brown is a lifelong intellectual mentor, colleague, and continued inspiration for Holdren);

3) and told me not to expect any response from Holdren’s office on my specific question about whether Hodren disavows his relationship with a eugenics enthusiast who referred to the world population as a “pulsating mass of maggots.”

I didn’t have any luck. Maybe you will.

1) Does Dr. Holdren disavow the population control extremism of his intellectual mentor and colleague, Harrison Brown or not?

2) Does Dr. Holdren also view the world population as a “pulsating mass of maggots?”

3) Was Dr. Holdren unaware of Harrison Brown’s views when he paid homage to him at the AAAS keynote address in 2007?

I am going to reprint here again what I reported last week on Holdren and Brown as a reminder of what the science czar refuses to talk about:

Well, I have indeed read one of Holdren’s recent works that reveals his clingy reverence for, and allegiance to, the gurus of population control authoritarianism. He’s just gotten smarter about cloaking it behind global warming hysteria. In 2007, he addressed the American Association for the Advancement of Science conference. Holdren served as AAAS president; the organization posted his full powerpoint presentation (you can download the whole thing here.)

Take a gander at the opening slide that set the tone for his entire speech. Holdren admitted that his “preoccupation” with apocalyptic matters such as “the rates at which people breed” is a lifelong obsession inspired by scientist Harrison Brown:

Who is Harrison Brown? And what’s in “The Challenge of Man’s Future?” Holdren’s hero was a “distinguished member” of the International Eugenics Society. And, lo and behold, Harrison Brown advocated the same population control-freak measures Holdren put forth in Ecoscience.

Harrison Brown, writing to us from the year 1954 in his book, “The Challenge of Man’s Future,” suggests a method that would strike us as a crass violation of the rights mentioned above:
Let us suppose that in a given year the birth rate exceeds the death rate by a certain amount, thus resulting in a population increase. During the following year the number of permitted inseminations is decreased, and the number of permitted abortions is increased, in such a way that the birth rate is lowered by the requisite amount. If the death rate exceeds the birth rate, the number of permitted inseminations would be increased while the number of abortions would be decreased. The number of abortions and artificial inseminations permitted in a given year would be determined completely by the difference between the number of deaths and the number of births in the year previous.

But that wouldn’t be all. If we are to maintain a worldwide sustainable industrial society, we will need to control population across current borders. If we don’t, many members of overpopulated societies will soon be knocking at our doors asking for assistance or even entry.

Brown also suggests that such control over reproduction might be used to slow down the deterioration of the human species. This has occurred in industrial society because humans are no longer subject to natural selection to the same degree that they have been in the past. Those who are healthy and able might be encouraged through incentives to have several offspring, while those who have deficiencies, say, of sight or hearing or mental ability might be discouraged. The problem, he notes, is in deciding what really constitutes “fit” or “unfit” and overcoming our revulsion to such a eugenics scheme. Still, he adds, when one considers the bald evolutionary facts, it behooves human societies, if they want to remain resilient in the face of changing conditions on Earth, to somehow replace nature’s cruel hand in pruning the so-called “unfit” with something less drastic. It’s that or face eventual extinction.

Brown acknowledges that none of this will seem acceptable to the vast majority of his readers. But, he is concerned that unless population stability and other problems are addressed head on, arrangements that are far more restrictive and objectionable than the ones he proposes may be implemented in their place.

Harrison Brown’s book — the book that inspired Obama science czar John Holdren — also infamously likened the world’s growing population to “a pulsating mass of maggots.” Don’t just believe me. Believe your own eyes:

A Time magazine profile of Brown published when his book came out in 1954 reported: “Scientist Brown is not confident that anything can be done, but he insists that population control is the first and essential measure; only by cutting their birth rates drastically can the crowded agricultural countries hope to enjoy the benefits of industrialization.”

If, as the White House claims, Holdren no longer believes that “that determining optimal population is a proper role of government,” then why does he still pay homage to one of the country’s most renowned population control advocates and plug his half-century-old tome advocating better-living-through-engineered-abortions? Don’t just take my word. Believe your own eyes:

Dr. Holdren, come out, come out, wherever you are.

Orwellian title of the day

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 21, 2009 01:11 PM

It doesn’t get much more dishonest than this:

“Reducing the Need for Abortions Initiative.”

Steven Ertelt reports on the abortion bailout bill disguised as “pro-life” legislation:

Rep. Rosa DeLauro, a Connecticut Democrat who is a former NARAL staffer, and Rep. Tim Ryan, an Ohio Democrat whom Democrats for Life of America recently kicked off its board, are behind the bill.

The legislation is nothing new as Ryan and DeLauro took a Democrats for Life initiative and changed it so much that it sent millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion business.

The bill is strong on rhetoric, but its particulars are so bad that Rep. Chris Smith, a New Jersey Republican who heads the pro-life caucus of lawmakers in the House, told the Copely News Service in 2006 that the measure would “lead to more abortions, not less” and said pro-life lawmakers won’t support it.

He found it hypocritical that federal funds would go to abortion centers where “in one room, they talk contraception, and in the other room, they kill your baby.”

Rep. James Oberstar, a Minnesota Democrat who is the co-chairman of the House Pro-Life Caucus and the kind of moderate lawmaker the measure is designed to appeal to, wouldn’t support it either.

Ryan also told Copely at the time that he asked several major pro-life groups to join him in supporting the bill, but none would take the bait because of the money dedicated to Planned Parenthood.

The bill appears to be designed to provide abortion advocates and President Barack Obama cover for his extensive pro-abortion record.
