- IST 331 - Organization and Design of Information Systems - Website Analysis

I am in the process of developing a seminar workshop with a team of women in IST led by professor Mary Beth Rossen. We are focusing our workshop for a pocket of women at our former high schools in hopes of expanding young women's understanding of the possibilities technology can bring and how it can impact their lives directly. The first research excursion took place on March 28, 2008 at my former high school, Perkiomen Valley.
I have been webmaster for the Indoor Color Guard since 2007. In this time I have recreated the Eclipse Web Page in order to make it more aesthically pleasing. I integrated graphic design skills with Photoshop as well as web development skills with Dreamweaver into this project.

This communications class helped me earn my minor in Information Systems and Statistical Analysis. Many of the projects completed in the class and the skills learned are featured on my class portfolio.

My father is a rising author and chicken farmer for whom I created this website in order to promote sales and for readers, fans, and friends to keep up with the latest releases as well as life on the farm.
In this user and system principles class my team developed a thorough critique of the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State Website by which we developed and ran usability studies.
Dr. Frank Ritter and Dr. Olivier Georgeon have both read and critiqued this analysis and recommend our suggestions be taken into consideration by the ARL. A copy of the analysis is available: ARL Website Analysis.
