Okudan Kremer established
the Research Group for
Applied Decision Analysis for Improved Products & Systems (ADAPS Group) in 2002. Our mission is to investigate the design and
implementation of multi-criteria decision analysis methods for improvement of
products and systems. This is accomplished through
research that is focused on modeling the complex decision contexts to develop
more efficient decision making tools for alternative evaluation with the
ultimate goal of improving designed artifacts and systems for increased
productivity, and benefit to stakeholders.
Our
main research fields are applied decision analysis and design
engineering for products
& systems (including multi-person multi-criteria decision analysis, human
behavior in design and decision making, and optimization), and
systematic design methods (including TRIZ). This work
has applications in product and supply chain design, construction and healthcare
delivery systems.
