Diet Pills

Diet pills are something that I used to be hesitant about. I guess I never really believe those ads that you see on TV or in magazines where someone takes the diet pill and then they are 30 pounds lighter. It seems to me that diet pills need to be advertised in a more realistic way. But I guess people are buying into them anyways so it probably doesn't matter.
For me though, I realized that diet pills can work as long as they are used as a supplement to diet and exercise and not just as a replacement. I feel like too many people use diet pills as a replacement and then don't eat right and don't exercise and then they wonder why the pill isn't working.
So I decided to try a diet pill. I actually have lost a few pounds. I normally eat right and exercise regularly (besides maybe drinking and going out on the weekends). So I didn't really change my eating habits or exercising, I just made sure to keep up the pace. I ended up losing 6 pounds I think over 4 weeks, so that's pretty good for not having to change my habits at all. I guess diet pills really can work as long as you are taking them correctly and not just depending on them like they are some sort of magic pill. I feel like a lot of people also lose the weight when they are taking a diet pill then once the weight is gone they stop taking it and then they don't understand why they have gained the weight back. Once you lose weight you need to adjust to that weight you are at. You have to eat fewer calories than you did before when you weighed more and you also need to make sure you continue to diet and exercise.
Diet pills aren't magic. They don't lose the weight for you while you sit there and pig out in front of the TV. But they can help you to lose the weight that you have been aiming for as long as you do it the right and safe way. You need to talk to your doctor first and make sure you map out a healthy diet and exercise plan. Things worth having usually aren't easy to get so if you want to look good you have to work hard for it.
