Desperate Dental

I thought it would be easy to find a Brooklyn dentist, but actually finding a New York dentist was not an easy task. I mean, I guess if you have someone refer you to a dentist that would make it simple, but here I was with severe pain coming from my back molar and it was getting so bad that I almost couldn't stand it anymore. I called around to the endless number of dentists in the phone book, but I couldn't find one that was even accepting new patients, much less one that could see me right away. I didn't have an established dentist and there were a million Manhattan dentists, but I was beginning to feel that I had called them all with no luck at all. I spoke to my mother on the phone desperate with pain, and she said that a few years ago she needed a dentist, and she found one through an online referral service. So I went online, just as soon as we got off the phone and I searched for dental referral services in NYC and to my surprise I found this great site called ZocDoc. ZocDoc provided me with just what I was looking for, a dentist fast. They had an easy to use system, that didn't ask me for too much information just what type of dental problem I was having and what location I was looking for a dentist in. They then provided me with a list of names, addresses, background information and even the available appointments times of each doctor.  Many of the doctor's could see me right away! There was a section for insurance information, but since I didn't have insurance that wasn't really relevant to me. I got in and got that molar out the very next day. I can't believe that they made it so simple to find a dentist that had openings and was taking new patients. I even got to choose from several different dentists and appointment times, and I was able to find a dentist right up the road. I am sure I will use him again. This great referral service called ZocDoc was completely free to use and made it so easy to find a dentist that I really recommend this one to anyone in need of a dentist. It worked great for me.
