There is never a bad time to realize that you should get back in to shape. When you come to the realization though, it is key that you actually take action and not just let it go at that. For many people this may just be a wake up call that results in a little bit of guilt and then nothing more. IT is especially helpful for those kinds of people to take this moment of clarity and get out there and do something. All it may take is just a meeting with a dietician to turn you life around. If you get this while you are still in college, you may be saving your life in the long run.
When you begin any kind of a new dietary or exercise routine, it is key that you get some type of guidance. Just thinking that simple exercise, sweat, and less eating will result in a better state of health is simply not a practical idea. To properly, and healthfully, loose weight you must balance your life, your diet, and you daily work load. There are plenty of simple weight loss tips out there, but if you don't balance those with good diet then you're hurting yourself down the road. IF you think that by not eating as much and exercising more that you can sustain that loss of weight then you are setting yourself up for yet another guilt trip when it all comes back. For some of use these things do work though and it is important to not rule anything out, but also to not go to extremes. With things like weight loss pills this is the same. You may be able to lose weight if you take them properly.
Just remember that above all things, listen to your body. IF something doesn't feel right then try something else. Pay attention to those subtle signals your body may send to you as you progress in your battle for a better body and a better state of health. Just don't ever give up because then you have totally lost everything you've ever worked for.
