Orovo
To gear up for the bike race at the end of the summer I have bee training every day before and after work. I have never done one of these races before and I am really at the point where I feel like winning is the only option I have. I have been using a lot of different techniques to prepare myself mentally and physically for the difficulties that lie ahead in the weeks leading up to the actual race.
One of the biggest thing I have been doing is just straight physical training. I have been focusing on finding a balance in terms of what meals give me the most energy and what schedules give me the best energy level to tackle the course. As of now I have done the complete course four times and I have used that experience to also work on my visualizations. I know that a huge part of any physical activity is mental preparation and I have been going through the race in my head every day. I picture every motion I make and every single twist in the course. I always picture myself burning through the pack and winning the race and I know exactly how to do this from my own perspective.
I have also gotten in to a new energy supplement regime with a set of products called Orovo. I started off by using their Orovo detox supplements to clear out all of the impurities in my body so that I would be ready to fill my body with those things that I would really need. Right now I have switched over to the Orovo super foods supplements. These new supplements have done a huge amount of good for my general health as well as my work on the bike. My times for my daily courses have been getting a lot better. Since I started taking them I think that I have really been synthesizing all of the nutrients in them quite well because I feel very clean as well.
Hopefully all of the work I am doing right now is going to pay off in about another month when I am beating the course. I think that with the way I am training and watching my energy levels, I will do just that.
