cheap-flowers
Some girls are all
about the expensive flowers and the fancy restaurants, but the women I
like are all about the cheap flowers.
If you want the expensive flowers then find some florists
because I am not in the garden enough. These are my favorite kind of
people in general because you know that a person who likes cheap things
just as much as the expensive kinds are more interested in the feeling
more than the cost. I myself would actually be turned off by
someone buying me an expensive gift if I thought that they were
actually going to make me a card by hand. If you have the
feeling then you should express it yourself. Why would you
need some big corporation to tell your friend or partner or whatever,
how much you love them. The more expensive the gift the less
it means to me because then it's an investment or a show of wealth and
if you priority is money then you are not for me. Obviously I
have someone I love and make gifts for all the time. I have
never once bought her a gift for her and she knows why, it involved no florist.
We are both artists and we agree that if we have to spend money on
something then it is part of the larger gift and not the gift in
itself. I am mainly a metal and glass artist and she does
performance art that is sort of abstract. So when we get each other
gifts it is usually some kind of reference to our love in one of her
pieces or I'll create something that has a mutual meaning for the two
of us within it. I don't think I'd want it any other way
because now our lives are filled with the things we believe in and have
experienced. If we had a house full of store bought gifts it
would feel like a prison of stuff that we could easily throw away if
only we didn't feel guilty about wasting all of that money that the
other one spent once upon a time.
