Going off of the most recent class blog question about internet access and the importance of it in the 21st century, quite frankly I absolutely think that having internet access is becoming increasingly important to everyday life and every citizen's involvement in society. Think about just being a college student today. Most of your assignments need to be done online or submitted electronically. A lot of your research reseources are now online. Without the internet as a student, you are most likely to fall behind. That is just an example but in general, the internet is not only a great resource but is also a great tool for countless other things and with the current digital divide that we have today is proof that the internet is important to the development of lesser developed countries. Sure you can live happily without the internet but like I said, you would fall behind on a lot of things especially information and information is crucial to making educated decisions as a citizen and very important to a democracy.
